Hello!

Is it possible to define tables and fields from which indexed search
should fetch the content for indexing and searching. I have some custom
tables and I would like them to be included into searching mechanism.
I have read something about crawler ext but I was wondering if it is
doable through standard indexed search configuration.

thx,
tomek

you cannot do it out of the box. You will need the crawler extension and
this part of indexed_search:
http://typo3.org/documentation/document-library/extension-manuals/doc_indexed_search/2.10.0/view/1/4/#id3922613

This does not look easy but it is very very usefull for own extensions.
