2nd-try, more simple text now.

I have a login page, a usergroup and a few users and a restricted area. After login I am being forwarded to page-id = 30 which is the restricted area.

But instead of showing the content/text that is on page-id = 30, the content is shown of the homepage. The same happens if you goto "quickstart/index.php?id=30" without even logging-in.

Cookie problem? Template problem?

Website: http://demo.iceshop.nl/cms/quickstart/
login: test
passwd: test

Thanks for the much needed help. Any additional info needed, let me know.

Yes you are right. It does not work.

But why?

The only thing I can suggest is a wrong permission in the user "test" or
his/her usergroup.

Or a wrong permission setting for the page (or the content).

Or a combination.

Thank you for your suggestion Daniel. But there is not much I can do about
permissions, at least not for "website users".

For the restricted page I have "General options: Access: Team Include
subpages"
The user "test" is part of "Team". So it should show the restricted page to
mr "test".

Another approach maybe.... Is there a way to show an error page in case the
Login is incorrect? Maybe the password encryption does not work? I want to
have an error page "login incorrect, password is wrong" or similar???

Thank you for your suggestion Daniel. But there is not much I can do about
permissions, at least not for "website users".
That's clear. I mean the TYPO3 permissions.
But . . .
I was blind.

Now I see that the login procedure goes wrong.

First you have to setup that part right.

The second (or third) step is the redirection.

So remove every redirection and try to make the login procedure works
well. If you stay on the login page you have to see an error message if
there is something wrong. If the error message does not appear there is
more than something wrong.

Try to fix it.

Maybe we can help you?

Success,
