Is there a chance to override the field content_from_pid of pages, so
that I can dynamically show content from another page within the acual page?

you can change the pagetype to 'advanced' and use Show content from
this page instead:

This is, what I want to do dynamically via the URL. I have one page and
according to the something like
index.php?id=5&page[content_from_pid]=6
the page 5 shows the content of page 6.

That would make workflow a lot easier (at least our workflow).

Thankful for any idea!

sorry to push this very old posting
but i have the same problem
i want to activate the [content_from_pid] funktion only by condition for
a special domain (in normal case this function should be deactivated,
also if there is an entry in this field)

any ideas ???
