[TYPO3-english] Disabling versioning for File Abstraction Layer

Hi Guys ,

Somebody please explain how to disable FAL versioning in typo3 6.1 . I have searched a lot but i didn't find a proper explanation form anywhere ?? Is it possible to disable versioning for FAL media files ??

You can disable versioning by simply removing the version extension.

If you just want to disable versioning for a single table, then you have to
alter the TCA. Either exclude a field from versioning or disable it for the
whole table.

You can find all configuration option with explanations at the TCA
